SUMMARY:MRD Talk #1: Climate change adaptation in mountains: How to close the gap between policies and local realities?
DESCRIPTION:Despite major efforts to promote adaptation actions\, gaps between policies and local responses persist and limit effective pathways toward more resilient mountain communities. Emilie Dupuits and Graham McDowell will present their findings on these rifts and discuss their recommendations with Kevin Kinusu\, Managing Director of Africa Bioenergy Programs Limited\, and Nona Budoyan\, Head of the Climate Policy Department of the Armenian Ministry of Environment\, as well as the audience.
