This Fellowship is developed specifically for individuals living, working, or raised in a mountain community, particularly those underserved or underrepresented in science and STEM. We particularly encourage projects that elevate community voices and address community needs in mountains, and build/enhance long-term relationships with mountain communities. The Fellowship offers leadership, mentorship, research and educational opportunities to students, youth, and early career practitioners both within and outside of academia.
