The Institute for Integrative Conservation (IIC) at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Environmental Justice. The tenure home for this position could be in any Arts & Sciences department at W&M, including but not limited to Anthropology, Government, Kinesiology & Health Sciences, Psychological Sciences, and Sociology.
As the IIC intends to perform research in collaboration with external agencies, NGOs, and other partners, the successful candidate will clearly articulate their research agenda in the context of either current or potential new external partnerships that make improvements in real-world conservation outcomes. We are interested in individuals with research and teaching expertise and interests in aspects of environmental and social justice that intersect with the conservation of global biodiversity, particularly in locations with indigenous and First Nation communities.
